FIELD: medicine, oncology.

SUBSTANCE: one should carry out digital ultrasound scanning in combination with the modes of energetic and chromatic Doppler mapping. Scanning should be conducted with an US-sensor, the area of its scanning surface exceeds maximal horizontal size of the tumor. Moreover, the sensor should be placed being parallel to skin surface, and scanning should be carried out in 3 mutually-perpendicular planes for the depth of up to 2 cm depending upon tumor localization at body surface. It is important to detect the availability of the tumor's capsule, the integrity of basal membrane of derma being under the tumor, the presence of blood and lymph vessels in the tumor and their relationship with intradermal and subdermal vessels, and, also, hypodermal vessels. It is important to specify echographic density of the tumor and the availability of the areas of necrosis, cysts, calcificates, fibrosis, the presence and the depth of tumor invasion, the state of lymph canals tumor-surrounding skin and hypoderma, detect the volume of each part in the tumor that has got different density. The innovation enables to increase the accuracy and the reliability of differential diagnostics.
