FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic organic synthesis, specifically to synthesis of aniline from nitrobenzene. Disclosed is a method of producing aniline by hydrogenation of nitrobenzene in isopropanol in a flow reactor with a fixed catalyst bed, characterized by that the reaction is carried out in the presence of heterogeneous mixed Mg-Al or Mg-Al-Fe oxides, water-isopropanol solution of nitrobenzene of increased concentration with content of 1.5-15.6 wt. % of nitrobenzene and 3-12 wt. % of water is used as reducing agent and solvent. Achieved aniline efficiency of catalyst is 0.103–0.828 g⋅h–1⋅gcat–1 at full conversion of nitrobenzene and normalized feed rate of nitrobenzene 0.138-1.187 g⋅h–1⋅gcat–1.
EFFECT: achieving output of aniline ≥99 % at full conversion of nitrobenzene.
