SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vision systems of robotic complexes (RC) when determining range to objects. Essence of the proposed technical solution consists in determining the distance to objects on a digital image without using radiation by taking into account the displacement of the image of the object on three video cameras placed on a plane at the angles of an equilateral triangle, wherein to control accuracy of measurements, three video cameras are arranged on movable platforms with the ability to move on a plane while maintaining the equilaterality of the resulting triangle.

EFFECT: high accuracy and speed of measuring range to objects.
