FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the manufacture of phosphors and light-emitting diodes. Precursors: oleates of yttrium, sodium, rare earth elements — europium, terbium or samarium, as well as tetraethoxylane, with a molar ratio of Na:Y:REE:Si=(5.0–5.1):(0.8–0.95):(0.05–0.2):4 are dissolved in benzene, toluene or a solution of rosin in ethyl alcohol at 50–70°C. The mixture is dried and annealed at 900°C for 1 hour. The resulting sodium-yttrium silicates, doped with rare earth elements, are phosphors and do not contain impurities.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the energy intensity of synthesis by reducing the temperature, time and number of stages.
