FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: transducer design comprises a housing, four identical piezoelectric elements installed in the housing in pairs symmetrically relative to the axis of symmetry with equal distances between adjacent piezoelectric elements from different pairs, and a protector coupled with the housing on the side of the radiating surfaces of the piezoelectric elements, configured to contact the surface of the controlled object at a point located on the axis of symmetry, and monolithically connected to the radiating surfaces of the piezoelectric elements, and the inner space of the housing is filled with a damper, wherein all piezoelectric elements are electrically isolated from each other, each piezoelectric element is provided with two leads and is made in the form of a plate in the form of a right-angled triangle, monolithically connected to the protector by the smaller leg, and the larger leg facing the axis of symmetry, wherein the plate thickness is not less than two times less than the smaller leg of the piezoelectric element.
EFFECT: wider field of use of the transducer by creating the possibility of oscillation of the point of contact of the transducer with the surface of the test object in any direction in the plane of the surface, as well as along the normal to the surface.
