FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to millimetre-wave electromagnetic radiation absorbers. Absorbing structure, which is an array of tetrahedral pyramidal elements, is made by 3D printing from a composite polymer with high specific electrical conductivity. Pyramidal elements are arranged in concentric rows, wherein the number of pyramidal elements in each row is determined by a natural number, wherein each single pyramidal element filled with a gyroid structure is deformed by torsion at an angle of not more than 30° tetrahedral pyramid with quadrangular base with sides of the order of working wavelength and thickness of walls of the order of skin layer, and the heights of the pyramidal elements in one row are set in accordance with a random distribution within 10 % relative to the nominal height, which is on the order of several units of operating wavelengths.
EFFECT: creation of an absorbing structure in the frequency range from 75 to 300 GHz with a power reflection coefficient of not less than -30 dB.
