SUBSTANCE: result is achieved due to power control device for modulation of electric power signals and methods for modulation of electric power signals. In one version, the power control device comprises a magnetic conductor including a first section and a second section. Primary winding is located around the first section, and the secondary winding is located around the second section. Power control device comprises a voltage converter having an AC connection and a DC connection, and a controller. Controller is configured to obtain data associated with parameters of the first signal in the primary winding, comparing the parameters of the first signal with parameters of the reference signal for the secondary winding, determining a harmonizing signal which, when applied to the first section, leads to the fact that the second signal in the secondary winding approaches the reference signal. Controller is configured to initiate the supply of a harmonizing signal to the first section using a voltage converter.
EFFECT: load balancing, power flow control and power quality optimization.
