FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an individual functional prosthesis of an underdeveloped forefoot. Prosthesis comprises a receptacle to be put on an underdeveloped foot, an anterior portion of the prosthesis made from a plastic material, made according to an individual cast of the underdeveloped foot to distribute the load on the segments of the underdeveloped foot. Prosthesis has support platform for correction of varus or valgus position of underdeveloped forefoot and creation of individual inclination angle of embedded silicone insole. Prosthesis comprises a silicone insole and a carbon plate for the stiffness of the base of the prosthesis, located inside the embedded silicone insole.
EFFECT: creation of a simple and reliable foot prosthesis, which increases functional capabilities of a faulty limb during walking and other movements, increases support ability of the foot and lower limb as a whole, which enables to use standard, but not individually made orthopaedic shoes.
