FIELD: transportation; packing; storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-insulating containers intended for transportation of cooled food products. Thermal container comprises a shockproof housing placed in a metal frame structure having two independent inner chambers of identical dimensions, sealed doors located on the front side of the structure, and a removable replaceable base. Inner chambers are thermally insulated from the environment by a layer of polyurethane foam, in the area of the door adjoining there is a seal made from a thermoplastic polymer, and a mortise locking device of a rod type is installed on each door. Housing and doors are sheathed with a layer of reinforced impact-resistant fibreglass; the structure of the frame and doors is overlapped.
EFFECT: provision of reliable thermal insulation of cooled products storage areas, increase of thermal container structure strength, convenience of use of door locking mechanisms, repairability.
