SUBSTANCE: invention relates to depressant-dispersant additives (DDA), which improve operational properties of middle petroleum distillates. Disclosed is a component of a depressant-dispersant additive obtained by reacting a mixture of alkenes of general formulas R₁CH=CH₂ and/or R₂R₃C=CH₂ and unsaturated carboxylic acids of composition CH₂=CH(CH₂)_nCOOH with maleic anhydride in the presence of a free radical initiator, followed by reaction with a secondary aliphatic amine of general formula R₄R₅NH, where R₁ is an unbranched alkyl group and includes C₆-C₁₆ carbon atoms, R₂ is an unbranched alkyl group and includes C₆-C₁₆ carbon atoms, R₃ is an unbranched alkyl group and includes C₈-C₁₈ carbon atoms, n=7, 8, R₄, R₅ are alkyl groups containing C₁₂-C₂₀ carbon atoms; and depressant-dispersant additive for fuels containing disclosed component.

EFFECT: obtaining a component of a depressant-dispersant additive capable of lowering limiting filterability temperature (LFT) and increasing sedimentation stability of fuel, particularly diesel fuel during cold storage, in combination with a depressant additive.
