FIELD: communication technique.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to configuration and implementation of uplink (UL) transmission with frequency hopping (FH). Time-frequency units FH (TFUhop) for UL transmission are determined, wherein the determination of the TFUhop includes setting the size of the TFUhop in the time domain (TD size). For each user equipment (UE) in communication with a base station: configuring for UE one or more TFUhop from said determined TFUhop, wherein configuration of one or more TFUhop comprises steps of setting for each configured TFUhop positions of TFUhop in frequency domain (FD position) depending on time in accordance with TD size of TFUhop and accordingly configuring the UL transmission type for which the UE is to use the TFUhop; transmitting to UE first control information containing at least TD size of TFUhop and for each TFUhop from one or more TFUhop configured for UE, corresponding type of UL transmission and one or more parameters, based on which FD positions of TFUhop can be determined; and transmitting to the UE second control information at least signalling for the UE the UL transmission scheduling of one or more UL transmission types, wherein the second control information indicates UL transmission scheduling of each of the scheduled one or more UL transmission types to the corresponding TFUhop of the configured one or more TFUhop.

EFFECT: ensuring consistency of FH structures for SRS and PUSCH transmissions with achieving better coverage during multiplexed transmission of SRS and PUSCH with FH and flexible support for different frame structures, without binding to slot boundaries.
