FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used to restore individual occlusion height taking into account facial proportions. In the frontal position of the patient’s face, the patient’s temporomandibular region and his/her profile are taken from the front. Image of the temporomandibular region is used to establish the presence of displacements of the temporomandibular articular heads from the walls of the joint space and their direction relative to the centred position. Same image is used to determine the patient’s bite height and deviation from the normalized bite height. Lower jaw is displaced by preset deviation and in direction of this deviation to line SNA-Pm of intermaxillary angle SNA-Xi-Pm, at position of which intermaxillary angle is equal to 43–47°. Determining the current angular value of the face profile Gl-Sn-Pog for the subsequent correction of the lower jaw displacement to the angular value of the face profile equal to 165–175 °C, and a digital image model of the lower jaw is obtained in the normalized position of the head of the joint in the joint space and in relation to the normalized intermaxillary angle SNA-Xi-Pm and the angular value Gl-Sn-Pog of the face profile. Based on the digital image model, prosthetic structures are simulated, which ensure preservation of a new occlusion height by changing the position of the lower jaw relative to the upper jaw, and they are fixed on the dental arches of the lower jaw of the patient for adaptation of the lower jaw to the new occlusion height. After that, based on the digital image model, prosthetic structures are modelled for installation on the patient's dentition or implants, providing preservation of new occlusion height due to change of position of lower jaw relative to upper jaw, and fixing them on dentures of lower jaw of patient for adaptation of lower jaw of patient to new occlusion height.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher accuracy of bite restoration individually for the patient due to use of calculations by anthropometric points on bone structures, which do not depend on the number of teeth in a person.
