FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: technique involves performing lateral teleradiography of the head, receiving a skiagram of the teleradiography of the head, in which anthropometric points are marked and planes of the anatomical structures of the facial bones are plotted. The skiagram is aligned with a template, which is a graphical representation of the planes and angles of their intersection derived from standard data of the permanent normal occlusion. If the linear and angular measures of the template and individual's skiagram appear to be aligned, a dento-facial pathology is diagnosed.
EFFECT: technique makes it possible to detect abnormal dimensions, position and inter-relation of the basic morphological formations of the facial bones and dental arches, enables the objectively faster diagnosis preceding a final differential diagnosis.
