FIELD: displaying.

SUBSTANCE: display has a notification window and a nanophotonic material passing along the front surface of the window. In one aspect, the nanophotonic material is configured to generate and emit light therefrom, having at least one of the given wavelengths, in response to a light wave illuminating the window and incident on the nanophotonic material. In another aspect, the nanophotonic material is configured, in response to a light wave comprising at least one predetermined wavelength, illuminating the window and incident on the nanophotonic material, increasing the amplitude of at least one given wavelength and emitting a light wave therefrom, providing at least one given wavelength with increased amplitude.

EFFECT: disclosed is a display for an aerosol generating device.
