SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical sensors and can be used for ultra-sensitive analysis of molecular structure of substance in different areas. Sensor element for additional selective amplification of the signal of giant Raman light scattering includes a metal film, periodically arranged on it elements with size from 10 nm to 10,000 nm and distance between them from 1 nm to 10,000 nm and metal nanoparticles with size from 1 nm to 200 nm. Sensor element comprises an additional island or continuous layer of dielectric granules deposited on the surface of metal nanoparticles, wherein the dielectric granules are made from a material with a refraction index greater than 1 and size of 1 nm to 10,000 nm.

EFFECT: invention provides higher sensitivity of the sensor element.
