FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel multifunctional conjugates of ipidacrine with 2-substituted phenols, which have the ability to simultaneously inhibit acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase, bind to the peripheral anionic site of acetylcholinesterase, inhibit self-aggregation of beta-amyloid and bind free radicals. Also disclosed is a method of producing conjugates of ipidacrine with 2-substituted phenols.
EFFECT: disclosed are multifunctional conjugates of ipidacrine with 2-substituted phenols, which can be used to treat neurodegenerative diseases.
