SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in X-ray diagnostics, ultrasonic diagnostics and clinical picture of internal diseases. Disclosed is a method in which a doctor-operator performing a puncture-aspiration biopsy, after preparing a cytological preparation, places a slide on a panel with a fixed speed of 38 mm per 1 s. Above the first slide, before the analysis, an apparatus for automatic fixation of cell elements with a video camera is placed at distance of 10 mm, and a flashlight is placed under the slide; doctor-operator sets the panel in motion, the slide moves under the video camera of the apparatus, after which the video camera built into the apparatus automatically fixes the cell elements from the slide illuminated by a flashlight and determines the component of the cytological micropreparation: blood corpuscles and other cellular elements. When other cellular elements are detected (the cytological preparation is recognized as informative), a green light on the apparatus comes on, the doctor-operator removes the slide from the panel and hands the slide with the informative preparation to the cytologist for a subsequent standardized evaluation procedure. If blood corpuscles are detected on the apparatus, a red light comes on, the doctor-operator continues to perform puncture-aspiration biopsy with sampling new portions of tissue for obtaining new preparations with their subsequent verification; slide with a non-informative cytological preparation is rolled down an inclined plane into a tray for further planned evaluation by a cytologist.

EFFECT: invention provides rapid assessment of information value of cytological preparation.
