FIELD: microwave equipment.
SUBSTANCE: symmetric slit microwave signal transmission line with interlayer junction comprises a dielectric substrate, flat metal screens forming a slit line. Part of the symmetrical slit line is located on one side of the dielectric substrate, and the other part is on the other side. Interlayer transition is made in the form of two through metal-coated holes with diameter from 20 to 300 mcm, each of which electrically in pairs connects edges of metal screens perpendicular to the slot. Holes are located on each side of the slot. Centres of the holes are located in one plane perpendicular to the plane of the sides of the substrate, and are located on the edges of the connected screens, and the distance between the holes corresponds to the width of the slot, while the width of the slot on the surfaces of the substrate, as well as inside the substrate, is maintained.
EFFECT: providing signal transmission from one side of the dielectric substrate to the other, improving electrical characteristics of the device, namely reducing power losses of the transmitted signal and widening the operating frequency range.
