FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wires of gas turbine engine ignition systems. Ignition wire containing discharge current conductor, insulation and screening metal braiding includes the first cylindrical stepped fitting, to which braiding and nut are connected, as well as the first contact device soldered to the conductor. Wire includes a metal elbow in the form of an L-shaped cylindrical branch pipe connected to the braiding on one side and connected by soldering to the second cylindrical stepped fitting on the other side. Soldered seam is localized on the inner surface of the second cylindrical stepped fitting with a smaller diameter. Wire includes a second contact device soldered to the conductor, a stepped ceramic insulator, a spring and a nut fixed on the second stepped fitting. Spring is placed between the end of the second stepped fitting and the outer surface of the ceramic insulator. Second contact device is placed in the inner volume of the ceramic insulator.

EFFECT: reduction of ignition wire dimensions.
