FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in endodontic treatment. After processing the computer analysis data, the cast is taken from the jaw. It is used to cast an exact model of the gypsum model, scan it and obtain a digital image of the crown part of the analyzed tooth. Digital images of tooth are aligned by computer program "ANSYS 8.0" and on combined image of tooth using computer program "Amira 3D" simulate two individually produced three-dimensional template on crown part of tooth, wherein the first template is modeled so that it has a hole which exactly corresponds to the shape and dimensions of the tooth cavity, and when placed in the oral cavity, tightly adjoining the tooth surface, projects cavity boundaries on its chewing surface. Preset boundaries of the tooth cavity through the template hole are marked with a felt-tip pen, and the second pattern is modeled so that it has a hole, the projection of which is located in the established boundaries of the tooth cavity on its chewing surface, and a hollow limiter, which establishes cavity depth and is used to limit the introduction of cylindrical boron coated with diamond crumbs only from the end of the working part, by means of which a crown portion of the tooth is prepared through a hole at a specified depth.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain a reliable and complete clinical picture of the structure of the crown and root parts of the tooth, determine the boundaries of the tooth cavity, avoiding the possibility of perforation of tooth crown walls and tooth root perforation and to preserve hard dental tissues from excessive preparation in search of root canal mouths.
