FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for remote hydraulic testing of pipelines operating under excess pressure. Method consists in the fact that pressure in the workpiece of the tested article is increased to a predetermined test pressure, which is maintained for a certain period of time. At that, pressure increase in the workpiece of the tested item is performed by means of a hydraulic plunger pump with an electric drive through a pressure line with pressure control devices and a discharge valve of high pressure located on it. On one side, the pressure line is connected to the said high-pressure pump, and on the other side – to the workpiece of the tested item. High-pressure hydraulic plunger pump is controlled by sending a command from the control panel located outside the dangerous zone. When the preset pressure in the workpiece of the tested article is reached, a signal is sent from the pressure control devices and pressure injection is stopped. When the specified pressure in the workpiece of the tested item is exceeded, a signal is sent from the above control devices and the high pressure relief valve is automatically opened, reducing the pressure to the specified values. Test process is controlled remotely with recording of data from a video camera directed to the tested workpiece and pressure control devices on a personal computer located outside the dangerous zone. Data from the video camera are transmitted to a personal computer through two remote access points and two switches.
EFFECT: reduction of metal consumption of the workpiece, increase of information content and reliability of the test process, provision of safety of tests.
