FIELD: metallurgy; performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and machine building, namely, to manufacture of impeller of soldered structure made of austenitic-martensitic steel and intended for design of promising centrifugal compressor plants. Soldering is carried out in vacuum furnaces with solder based on nickel-chromium system with subsequent isothermal reduction to hardening temperature, holding at this temperature and further high-speed cooling with inert gas. Soldering mode is combined with hardening mode. After quenching, the impeller is subjected to cold treatment. Impeller thermal treatment cycle is completed by aging process at temperature of 350-400 °C.
EFFECT: invention provides high strength of the soldered joint and the required structure of the base metal, promotes guaranteed filling of the gaps with solder, and also reduces the labour intensity of the process by reducing the number of thermal operations; use of solder based on nickel-chromium system significantly reduces the cost of the process of making the article.
