FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering means, in particular to devices for monitoring thermal state of various articles when subjected to thermal load. Disclosed is a method of determining change in the thermal state of a heated object, which includes heating the monitored object with a heating object and measuring temperature of the heated object with first and second temperature sensors. First temperature sensor is located in the centre of the heating object, the second temperature sensor is located in the centre of the heated object. At equilibrium of thermal first state of thermodynamic system, represented by heating and heated objects, thermodynamic entropy S1 of this system is calculated. Then the temperature of the heating object is increased and this temperature is measured by the first temperature sensor. Simultaneously with this second temperature sensor, the temperature of the heated object is measured until the onset of the thermal equilibrium of the next state of the system. When establishing equilibrium of the thermal second state of the system, thermodynamic entropy S2 is calculated and by formula ΔS = S2-S1 = Cln[(T2+T1)2/4 T2T1], where C is heat capacity of heated and heating objects, T1 is the temperature of the heating object at the moment of its increase, T2 is the temperature of the heated object before the onset of equilibrium of the thermal state of the system with the condition T1>T2, determining the change in the thermal state of the heated object.
EFFECT: simple process of determining change in the thermal state of a heated object.
