FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to technology of purifying cytidine-5'-diphosphate compound and its separation from cytidine-5'-monophosphate (5'-CMP). Method of producing cytidine-5'-diphosphate compound (5'-CDP) with a cationic substitute includes an adsorption step by contacting solution containing 5'-CDP with basic ion-exchange resin, and a step for obtaining an eluate by elution of adsorbed 5'-CDP with an aqueous solution of an organic acid containing 2 or more carbon atoms.
EFFECT: providing a method of producing 5'-CDP, which enables to effectively remove impurities of undesirable 5'-CMP and concentrate the target product.
