SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to occupational pathology, cardiology and therapy, and can be used for prognostic personified assessment of risk of arterial hypertension (AH) in males 20-59 years old, working at industrial enterprises. Determining age, body weight index, presence of abdominal obesity, total cholesterol content, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, creatinine, phospholipids, ferritin, magnesium, C-reactive protein, apolipoprotein B, gamma-glutamyltransferase and polymorphisms ofA1298C MTHFR, C1291G ADRA2A, Arg16Gly ADRB2, +1267A/G HSPA1B genes. Obtained values are substituted into the formula for calculating the complex prognostic coefficient of the PCc. If the PCc is less than -12.788, a low risk of AH is predicted. If PCc is from -12.788 to 12.788, a moderate risk of AH is predicted. If the PCc is more than 12.788, a high risk of developing AH is predicted.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the risk of developing AH in males aged 20-59 years old, working at industrial enterprises, due to a personified assessment of the health status of males of working age.
