SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in intercity, tourist and sightseeing buses. Front folding seat has backrest installed in bus on rods of parallelogram mechanism. When folded, the seat is installed on the upper and lower links of the parallelogram mechanism in front of the passage between the bus seats next to the instrument panel. When folded, the chair is installed at height of 180-200 mm relative to the floor, and the range of variation of the distance between the centres of the hinges of the links of the parallelogram mechanism is 400-550 mm. Lower and upper links of the parallelogram mechanism have a bent stepped zigzag shape. Folding chair has two armrests pivotally connected with chair back and with two armrest rods, which are pivotally connected with seat cushion. Chair back has a handle for reclining the chair, which is achieved by lifting and moving back the chair back, which moves on the lower and upper rods of the parallelogram mechanism. Parallelogram mechanism lower and upper tie-rods, when the seat is in a static position, are located close to driver’s seat step.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the front folding seat mechanism.
