FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to veterinary science, traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for fixation of bone fragments. Metal inserts are inserted into the bone base, which are immersed in the bone, leaving the ends protruding. On the protruding ends of the embedded elements, a device for fixation of bone fragments is installed, made of an elastic bioinert material in the form of a sterile frame, having a bottom part corresponding to the size of the fracture, and lateral faces perpendicular to it. Mold bottom is pressed to embedded elements. Device is filled with bone cement, completely covering protruding embedded elements. After stabilization of the cementing mass from the bone cement, the device is removed. Wound is closed in layers, and an external fixation apparatus is installed. Spokes, rods, pins and screws are used as embedded elements. Device for fixation of bone fragments in cats and dogs is a sterile form made of elastic bioinert material in the form of a frame having a bottom part corresponding to the size of the fracture, and lateral faces perpendicular to it. Device frame is supplemented with fixed cover with valve for introduction of liquid cements. Device is made of bioinert silicone or soft elastic rubber. Bottom part of the mould is rectangular, polygonal, semi-cylindrical. Device can have a perforated bottom part.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides accurate and stable fixation of bone fragments and creation of favourable conditions for bone fusion due to introduction of embedded elements into bone base, isolation of implant formation zone from incoming blood, lymph, disinfecting and other fluids and creating an implant that exactly matches the nature of the fracture, has no negative effect on the bone tissue and may not be removed after the fracture is fused.
