FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-strength round bars with bimodal gradient microstructure from Co-Cr-Mo alloys. Billet is heated to temperature of 1180-1200 °C. Radial-shear rolling is performed in 4-9 passes with average drawing ratio per pass of 1.2-1.5 and total drawing factor of not less than 3.0 with intermediate heating between passes. Quenching in water is carried out after the last pass from the temperature of the end of rolling. Aging is carried out at temperature of 840-880 °C for 90-150 minutes.

EFFECT: as a result, long bars of round cross-section are obtained from Co-Cr-Mo alloy with gradient bimodal microstructure.
