FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for tissue expansion in surgical management of an intracerebral haematoma. Device for tissue expansion in the surgical management of an intracerebral haematoma consists of an external body and an obturator made of a transparent material. Outer housing has a cylindrical shape, one of its ends is rounded inside and has a round hole occupying 95% of the inner diameter of the outer housing. Hole is connected with manipulation window on wall of external housing, which occupies one third of length of external housing, its width is half of inner diameter of external housing, and inner edge is rounded. Diameter of end of external housing on opposite side is increased by 25%, and external housing on this side is made in form of a cone, which occupies one third of length of external housing. Outer housing on the side of the widened face expands in form of a washer perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the outer housing, and has four through-holes in form of ovals for mounting a light guide from a light source or for fixing a device. Obturator is made in form of cylinder, sealed and rounded on one side. Outer shape and dimensions of the obturator are congruent to the inner shape and dimensions of the outer housing. In the centre of the sealed and rounded end of the obturator there is round hole 5 mm in diameter. An opposite end of the obturator has two lugs perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the obturator.
EFFECT: using the invention enables providing the non-traumatic approach for evacuating the intracerebral haematoma contents by blunt dilation of the surrounding tissues, and also enables inspecting the haematoma cavity and creping, or coagulating, or suturing the injured blood vessel.
