FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology, and can be used to determine probability of presence of genetically verified MEN-1 syndrome among patients with its phenocopy. Following parameters are determined: number of parathyroid glands, age at the moment of clinical diagnosis of MEN-1, presence of neuroendocrine pancreatic tumour, burdened heredity, secretion of growth hormone pituitary adenoma, sex. Derived values are processed using a classification model trained to determine the probability of the presence of genetically verified MEN-1 syndrome among the patients with phenocopy thereof, expressed as a percentage.
EFFECT: method provides simple, reliable, non-invasive determination of probability of presence of genetically verified MEN-1 syndrome among patients with its phenocopy due to evaluation of complex of most diagnostically significant parameters.
