FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumental diagnostics and information technologies, can be used in surgical departments and endocrine surgical departments in surgical treatment of various forms of primary hyperparathyroidism. Disclosed is a method for imaging parathyroid adenomas in primary hyperparathyroidism, involving the patient's magnetic resonance imaging of the area of interest and analysis of the results of the study. MRT data are processed in system of hardware and software complex "Autoplan", at that, obtained result in DICOM format is loaded into Autoplan software; bringing separate series of images into the single coordinate system; images are used to distinguish boundaries of anatomical formations of neck: oesophagus, trachea, thyroid cartilage, thyroid gland, parathyroid adenoma; constructing three-dimensional model of area of interest; three key points are indicated on the model: the middle of the anterior-superior edge of the jugular suture, the middle of the upper edge of the thyroid cartilage, a middle of the inner edge of the nodding muscle on the side of the location of the pathologically changed parathyroid adenoma; in order to increase navigation accuracy, six additional points are marked, which are located on lines connecting three key points, two on each line equidistantly; preoperative incision is performed by aligning the prepared model with the patient's body using a navigation pointer, placing it at the points on the patient's neck corresponding to points marked on the model; cut-access to parathyroid adenomas is performed, and moving the pointer over the surface of the surgical field, observing its location on the three-dimensional model, finding a real location of the parathyroid glands with adenomas.
EFFECT: invention provides topical diagnosis of parathyroid adenomas with optimization of operative approach, reduced frequency of complications in surgical interventions in the patients with primary hyperparathyroidism.
