FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of membrane technology, can be used for purification and separation of aqueous solutions and aqueous emulsions in metallurgical, food, petrochemical and other industries, in waste water treatment and water treatment. In the method of modifying hollow-fibre ultrafiltration membranes, an alkaline buffer solution of 10-aqueous sodium tetraborate with pH=9.2 is prepared and tannin is dissolved therein in amount of 2.0 g/l. Acetate acid buffer solution pH=5.5 is prepared and oxidizer KMnO4 is dissolved therein in amount of 1.0 g/l. Hollow fibre ultrafiltration membranes are soaked in distilled water for 1 hour. Prepared membrane is immersed in an alkaline solution for 1 hour. Membrane is then transferred from the alkaline buffer solution into the obtained acidic solution for 2 hours.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the surface of the hollow fibre ultrafiltration membranes wettability, which leads to increase in the antifouling properties.
