SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to robotic vehicles intended for transportation of items in a warehouse. Method of controlling a robotic vehicle comprising movable platform by warehouse surface, longitudinal housing, housed on platform, transducer located on longitudinal housing, and a processor associated with the sensor, wherein the method comprises steps of: obtaining a signal generated by the sensor and characterizing the oscillatory movement of the longitudinal body during operation of the robotic vehicle on the surface of the warehouse; obtaining a reference signal indicative of the normal operating state of the robotic vehicle; and change current speed of the robotic vehicle to reduce the oscillatory movement of the longitudinal body when the signal exceeds the threshold interval specified relative to the reference signal.
EFFECT: detecting oscillating movements of the robot frame to reduce oscillating movement of the frame and preventing the robot overturning.
