FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of analysing cells using cell analyser (1) for analysing cells in accordance with an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm, involving: obtaining matrix data on cells measured by a cell measuring device (4000, 4000', 4000'''), equipped with a flow cytometer, by flowing a sample in a duct irradiated with a light beam, and detecting an analogue signal from the irradiated cells in the sample, as matrix data elements, values digitally indicating the level of the analogue signal at a plurality of time points while the cell is irradiated in the duct; transmitting matrix data collected by the cell measurement device through the network to the cell analyser; and analysis of matrix data using a cell analyser equipped with a processor configured to perform parallel processing, to generate cell type information for each of the plurality of cells in accordance with an AI algorithm comprising a plurality of matrix operations for generating cell type information for each of the plurality of cells. Described also is a system for classifying cells by type, comprising: a cell measuring device equipped with a flow cytometer, wherein the cell measuring device comprises a measuring unit configured to measure a plurality of cells, wherein the measuring unit using a flow cytometer irradiates the plurality of cells flowing in the duct with a light beam and detects analogue signals from the irradiated cells, a network and a cell analyser equipped with a processor configured to perform parallel processing, wherein the cell analyser receives, through the network, data corresponding to matrix data on each of the plurality of cells measured by the measuring unit, wherein the matrix data have, as matrix data elements, values in digital form indicating the level of the analogue signal at a plurality of time points while the cell is irradiated in the duct, and the processor performs parallel processing to process the matrix data in accordance with an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm comprising a plurality of matrix operations.
EFFECT: invention improves accuracy of cell classification without the need for a cell measuring device to have high information processing capability.
