FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to safety devices of aircraft, in particular safety valves of the cooling system of an aircraft radar station (RS). Safety valve consists of a body with angular arrangement of inlet and outlet unions, to which supply pipelines are connected, with an upper flange with sealing rings for installation of a cover. In the cover there are two slots; in the adjustable nut located inside the housing and installed on the axis above the spring there are two protrusions connected to slots of the cover to prevent rotation. In the upper part of the housing there is an adjusting nut rigidly fixed on the axis. Inside the body under the axis and the spring there is a valve pressed by the spring to the seat. Valve actuation pressure is adjusted by turning the adjusting nut without disassembling the safety valve.
EFFECT: setting the required coolant pressure in the radar station cooling system directly on the aircraft without disassembling the safety valve and dismantling the supply pipelines in order to prevent failure of the radar station due to excess pressure of the cooling liquid.
