METHOD FOR PRESERVING NATURAL DRAINAGE OF URINE IN LAPAROSCOPIC CYSTECTOMY Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology. Bladder is mobilized and cut off. For this purpose, parietal peritoneum is dissected, bilateral lymphodissection is performed with removal of internal, external iliac, obturator, presacral lymph nodes, ligation and transection of cystic arteries, vascular pedicles of prostate gland, vas deferens. Intrapelvic fascia is dissected, sequential mobilization of posterior and lateral walls of bladder, prostate, after the urethral catheter is removed, the urethra is clipped and transected; the mobilized complex including the bladder, the prostate and the spermatic vesicles is placed in a single block in a container. At the final stage before extraction of the container, the ureters are clipped and transected at the level of the intersection with the iliac vessels.

EFFECT: method allows to preserve natural outflow of urine from kidneys during the whole period of laparoscopic cystectomy, which allows maintaining a normal water-electrolyte balance during the operation and preventing the postoperative renal function decrease, as well as eliminating the risk of developing acute pyelonephritis.
