FIELD: medical science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used in surgery of pathology of long head of biceps brachii. Guide pin is placed in a suprapectoral region. Canal of the diameter no more than 7 mm is drilled monocortically along the guide pin. In formed channel is immersed guide for drilling and installation of soft-woven anchor retainer with one pair of threads. After drilling and fixation of the soft-tissue anchor retainer with one pair of sutures behind the second cortical layer of the humeral bone, the intra-articular portion of the tendon of the long head of the biceps brachii is excised. Proximal end of this tendon is sutured with one of the free sutures from the soft-tissue anchor retainer using the continuous overlapping suture technique: starting from the end face of the proximal end of the tendon in the distal direction, making four seams with stitches indented to 0.5 cm, then the needle with the thread is passed through all the suture loops and brought out in the end part of the proximal end of the tendon. Laced end of the tendon is immersed into the formed canal by traction on the thread brought into the soft-tissue anchor fixator. It is fixed by tying knots.

EFFECT: method provides reducing intraoperative complications and injuries, promotes higher bone integration and reduces the invasiveness of the negative effect of the foreign material implanted into the human body by immersing the long head of the biceps into the bone canal and applying the continuous overlapped suture.
