SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for roasting and processing coffee beans, including roasting device (50) and associated processing device (60, 70); wherein roasting device (50) is configured to receive coffee beans of a certain type, wherein roasting device includes reading means (53) for identifying characteristics of coffee beans dispensed into it, wherein roasting device (50) further includes a control unit, configuring the roasting profile of the grains in accordance with the characteristics extracted from reading means (53) and/or according to the grains characteristics in data base (51) in the control unit, and/or in accordance with the data entered by the user; wherein the roasted coffee beans are transferred to coffee treatment device (60, 70) for the beverage preparation, wherein roasting device (50) includes a data transmission function for transmitting the roasted coffee bean type parameters to treatment device (60, 70) for the treatment coffee; wherein coffee processing device (60, 70) receives roasted coffee beans of one or more types from roasting device (50); wherein the coffee processing device comprises data reading device (62, 72) for obtaining information on roasted coffee beans product parameters; wherein coffee processing device (60, 70) additionally contains a control unit configured to adapt the processing parameters used for the beverage preparation depending on the roasted coffee beans product parameters. Invention also relates to a method of roasting and treating coffee beans using roasting and processing equipment similar to that described. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of roasting and processing equipment similar to that described for dispensing a coffee drink of a certain type and/or a certain amount of ground coffee.

EFFECT: coffee machine can adjust the processing parameters in accordance with the required target output and depending on the beans used, integrity of the procedure and information is also ensured by reporting the correct parameters to be used.
