SUBSTANCE: disclosed is equipment for roasting and grinding coffee beans, comprising roasting device (50) and associated grinding device (60), wherein roasting device (50) is configured to receive coffee beans of a certain type and comprises reading means (53) for identifying characteristics of coffee beans fed into said device, a control unit which configures the roasting profile of the grains in accordance with the characteristics extracted from reading means (53) and/or according to the characteristics of the grains in data base (51) in this control unit, and/or in accordance with the input data entered by the user, wherein roasted coffee beans are distributed in containers (10, 20) for beans, wherein containers (10, 20) for grains contain programmable identification means, wherein parameters of roasted coffee beans of certain type are encoded by encoder (52) in roasting device, wherein grinding device (60) comprises one or more housings for receiving one or more containers (10, 20) for beans, reader (62) for obtaining information on product parameters for roasted coffee beans in one or more containers (10, 20) for grains, control unit configured to adapt the degree of grinding and the number of roasted coffee beans to be fed from coffee beans containers (10, 20), to obtain a certain amount of coffee and/or a certain amount of coffee mixture from each bean container to be ground in accordance with these product parameters and/or in accordance with recipe database (64), and/or in accordance with the input data entered user. Also described is a method of roasting and grinding coffee beans using roasting and grinding equipment and use of such equipment for dispensing a mixture of roasted and ground coffee beans in a certain amount.
