FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of growing rice, which involves application of slurry in amount of 30 t/ha to meadow-chernozem soil at depth of 8–10 cm with introduction of nitrification inhibitor of prolonged action Entec FL DMPP with active ingredient 3,4-dimethylpyrazolephosphate, providing reduction of nitrogen losses in ammonium form from soil for rice seeds sowing with rice field irrigation mode and shortened flooding. Preliminary nitrification inhibitor of prolonged action Entec FL DMPP is diluted with water in ratio 1:6 and the obtained working solution of the nitrification inhibitor at rate of 6 l/ha is added to the slurry, thoroughly mixed and introduced into the soil.

EFFECT: invention increases fertility of meadow-chernozem soil, yield and quality of rice grains.
