FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air conditioning systems, in particular to ventilation systems with forced air circulation. In the method of conditioning a machine room containing server equipment, heat exchangers and fans, server equipment temperature mode calculation is carried out based on of required air volume flow rate by formula: (T2-T1) = Q1 / (Gc⋅C⋅P1)⋅3600, where Q1 is heat release of server equipment, kW, Gc is volumetric air flow rate through server equipment, m3/h, T2 is final air temperature, °C, T1 is initial air temperature, °C, C is specific heat capacity of air, kJ/(kg⋅°C), P1 is air density, kg/m3 (at temperature T1), then calculating required maximum total volumetric flow rate of air supplied to machine room at temperature T1, taking into account external heat gains by formula: G1 = (Q1+Q2) / ((T2-T1)⋅C⋅P1)⋅3600, where Q2 is external heat inputs, kW, then performing calculation of the required maximum total volumetric air flow rate taking into account of the external heat gains returned from the engine room at temperature T2, according to the formula: G2 = (Q1+Q2) / ((T2-T1)⋅C⋅P2)⋅3600, where G2 is volumetric flow rate of air returned from engine room, m3/h, P2 is air density, kg/m3 (at temperature T2), then performing calculation of total cross section area of heat exchangers by formula: Ssum = G1 / (V⋅3600), where Ssum is total cross-sectional area of heat exchangers, m2, G1 is volumetric flow rate of air supplied into engine room, m3/h, V is air velocity, m/s, then determining required number of heat exchangers Nt+xt, taking into account redundancy and based on heat exchangers total cross-section area (Ssum), where Nt is number of heat exchangers, xt is number of backup heat exchangers, after which determining dimensions of heat exchangers and calculating required cooling capacity of one heat exchanger by formula: Qt = (Q1 + Q2) / Nt, where Qt is cooling capacity of heat exchanger, kW, then setting required number of fans Nv+xv, taking into account redundancy, where Nv is number of fans, xv is number of standby fans, after that, performing the required air flow rate per one fan calculation by the formula: Gv = G2 / Nv, where Gv is volumetric air flow rate of one fan at temperature T2, m3/h, wherein air movement in engine room is carried out through heat exchangers by means of fans.
EFFECT: invention aims at determining required parameters of heat exchangers and fans for air conditioning of machine room, such as cross section area of heat exchangers, number of heat exchangers, their air flow rate, as well as cooling capacity of one heat exchanger and volumetric air flow rate of one fan.
