FIELD: chemistry; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear medicine and specifically to a method of preparing a suspension of tin chloride particles. Method of preparing a suspension of tin chloride particles containing a radioactive rhenium salt, comprising using a cold stabilized suspension of tin dichloride dihydrate; radiolabelling a tin dichloride dihydrate suspension with radioactive isotope 188Re or 186Re; neutralizing the obtained radioactive suspension by combining with a sodium phosphate solution having a stoichiometric excess of phosphate and a pH when combined in range of 2.5 to 5.5, wherein neutralizing solution of sodium phosphate is obtained by dissolving in water for injections sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate and sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, followed by addition of sodium hydroxide in following ratio of components of neutralizing solution of sodium phosphate: sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate 8.00 mg, sodium phosphate dodecahydrate 1.90 mg, sodium hydroxide 4.80 mg, water 2.5 ml, wherein the combination of the resulting radioactive suspension with the sodium phosphate solution is carried out while stirring continuously and heating in closed vessel at temperature of up to 50 °C, followed by holding for 1–2 hours.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed method simplifies the synthesis technique while simultaneously increasing stability of the radioactive suspension.
