FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to bariatric surgery. 10 ml of 0.75% solution of Ropivacaine and 5 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution are mixed. Gauze cloth is moistened with the prepared solution and, without squeezing, is rolled up into a twisted strand. Through a trocar installed in the left mesogastric region 2 cm below the left costal arch along the midclavicular line, a twisted strand soaked with an anaesthetic solution is inserted into the abdominal cavity. Twisted strand is unwound into a napkin and placed on the line of the apparatus gastrectomy. Time of local anaesthesia is 15-20 minutes.
EFFECT: method enables reducing postoperative pain syndrome, reducing the length of patient’s activation and temporary disability, does not require the use of specialized instruments and equipment in the operating room due to application anaesthesia with Ropivacaine solution.
