FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: at the beginning of laparoscopic surgery, a device for hydropressing application of local anesthetic is used, consisting of an effector unit - a 30 cm long tube with an inner channel for fluid and a special nozzle at the outer end, wherein the device outer end has an outlet, and the external end has a hole for airtight attachment of a syringe with anesthetic solution. The device is brought up to a distance of 5-10 cm between the outlet and the treated surface. By pressing the syringe plunger the anesthetic solution under pressure reaches the required surface to be treated. Repeated application of the anesthetic solution is carried out the same way at the end of surgery prior to desufflation.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the effective volume of local anesthetic, locally affecting the required portions of peritoneum and tissue, to reduce the total amount of applied anesthetic that decreases its toxic effect while reducing the post-operative pain, nausea, vomiting, quantity of analgesics used in the postoperative period, including drugs.
