FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of processing thermoplastic elastomers into articles for radio engineering and electronics. In the method for cross-linking electrically insulating materials and dielectric articles made from a thermoplastic elastomer, synthetic sodium-butadiene rubber is subjected to shaping by pressing and heating, wherein processing of the dielectric thermoplastic elastomer includes a technique for high-temperature cross-linking of the polymer at the double bond without curing agents, where in preheated press tool up to 50 °C material is loaded, from 20 to 30 minutes temperature is smoothly raised to 200-215 °C, when a given temperature is achieved, the material is pressed on a thermal press under pressure equal to 30 kgf/cm2, then pressing tool temperature is raised for 50-60 minutes to 280-300 °C and maintained under pressure for 70-90 minutes, after holding press tool is smoothly cooled for 50-60 minutes to 180-200 °C, after which the mould temperature is lowered to room temperature by natural cooling and the obtained dielectric material sample is pressed out.
EFFECT: manufacturing technology of electric insulating materials and items for radio engineering and electronics, which work in microwave range and are resistant to cyclic temperature change in negative and positive ranges with low dielectric loss tangent and dielectric permeability.
