FIELD: controlling combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of internal combustion engines, namely to a method, a device, a readable medium and a control system for controlling a location of an engine cylinder disconnection point. Engine speed is determined after receiving the cylinder disconnection request from the engine control unit; adjusting the engine speed to a predetermined speed in accordance with the speed range in which the engine speed falls; signal of the current engine position is synchronized by the signal of the rotating generator transformer when the engine speed reaches a predetermined speed and adjusting position of rotary transformer until engine crankshaft rotation angle is within specified range of rotation angles.
EFFECT: providing control of engine cylinder stop position for further smooth engine start.
