SUBSTANCE: invention refers to molecular biology and medicine, namely to a method for inhibiting tumour metastasis by suppressing tumour cell dedifferentiation consisting in suppressing stem gene expression. Method also includes introducing into the body molecules that can be chemical inhibitors, natural molecules or their synthetic analogues, including micro-RNA mimics, including those containing in their structure chemically modified nucleotides, or mixtures thereof.

EFFECT: method enables preventing the development of metastases by blocking the dedifferentiation of differentiated tumour cells included in the micrometastases.
