SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of assessing the ability of breast cancer cells to dedifferentiate by cultivating breast cancer cells in a complete nutrient medium with the addition of fetal calf serum, glutamine, antibiotic under standard conditions, removing cells, disaggregation and obtaining a single-cell suspension, selection differentiated cells by immunosorting, transferring cells into 6-well plates with low adhesion to plastic, inducing cell dedifferentiation by adding interleukin-6 to the medium.
EFFECT: invention can be used to study the stem plasticity of differentiated breast cancer cells when studying the fundamental mechanisms of carcinogenesis, predicting the risks of developing metastases after surgical removal of a tumor, and to evaluate the effectiveness of new anticancer medicinal products, namely antimetastatic medicinal products.
