FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to storage of biological samples, specifically to retrieval and storage thereof. Retrieval chamber is equipped with manipulator with many degrees of freedom for movements along Z axis and transportation system along X axis. Manipulator with multiple degrees of freedom is a mechanism for moving at different distances in several steps along the Z axis. Said manipulator is equipped with a grip for movement of extracted samples along Z axis. System for transportation along X axis is in position corresponding to grip, and provides movement of cover or container for storage of samples, extracted by means of grip, in specified position.

EFFECT: optimized design ensures saving of space, convenience and automation of control, sufficient sealing and heat insulation.
