FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blasting operations in mining, and can also be used in actuating airbags of vehicles by igniting a pyrotechnic composition in contact with an energy igniter. Power igniter consists of board with 0.5-1.5 mcm-thick contact pads formed on it. On a part of the surface of the contact pads, a dielectric film with thickness of 2-4 mcm is formed with holes conjugated with the inner ends of the contact pads. Outer ends of contact pads for supply of electric voltage are not covered with dielectric film. On the surface of the dielectric film there is a conducting multilayer energy film with a self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) effect with thickness of 5-20 mcm. Material of multilayer energy film contacts with one of contact areas through small hole with diameter of 50-100 mcm in dielectric film, and with other contact area – through large hole with diameter of 200-500 mcm.
EFFECT: development of design of power igniter with low electric power of ignition and high reliability of igniter operation.
